Mrs. Margaret Pauline Page

Mrs. Margaret Pauline Page, age 90, was born on October 19, 1930 and was called to her eternal home on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Treyburn Rehabilitation Center in Durham, North Carolina. Margaret was born in Asbury Park, New Jersey to her parents, the late Bennie Henry Parker and Hattie Crank Parker. Margaret Pauline Page was born Sunday, October 19, 1930, in Asbury Park, New Jersey to the late Bennie Henry and Hattie Louise Parker. She was the oldest of five children and loved her family deeply. She played the piano and violin at a young age and was an excellent student in grade school. She graduated from Milgrove High School in 1948 and continued to serve her church and family in ministry. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and played the organ and piano for churches over 50 years. Professionally, she supervised a cleaning company for many years. She worked at Liggett and Meyers American Tobacco Company from 1974 until her retirement. She was hardworking, independent, and faithful in her service. She served as a State Evangelist Missionary and loved working in the church. She served the Women's Ministry, Pastor's Aide, and Hospitality, just to name a few. She enjoyed attending District and State meetings, Holy Convocations, and National Conventions. In her first union, she had five children. Later, she married James Page who truly believed in 'love at first sight'. Together, they enjoyed country westerns, gardening, traveling, and visiting family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, fine fashions, and loved to be seen. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Carson Page, two sons, Alexander Agerston III, Phillip Agerston, daughter, Robin Brown, and daughters-in-law, Patricia Agerston, and Arthelia Roxanne Agerston. She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Andrew Agerston, Christopher Agerston, brother, Benjamin Parker (Joan), sister, Mildred Allen, brother-in-law, Pastor Andrew Snipes, daughters-in-law, Joyce Agerston and Phyllis Agerston, fifteen grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A Celebration of Life Service to honor the life of Mrs. Margaret Pauline Parker Page will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Fresh Fire Church of God in Christ, 4527 Denfield Street, Durham, North Carolina 27704, at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing beginning at 12:00 noon.
